Happiness is a Bag of Piney Flowers

Just picked a quarter grocery sack of fresh Chinook hops from the backyard bines. Once they're dry, they'll mingle with the scant amounts of Willamette and Cascade that came off the other two plants in a big plastic sack I'm going to label "Hop Bomb."

Since they're all first year plants, I can't get too serious about producing, labeling, and packaging them for the majority of my brewing this fall/winter. So, the Hop Bomb is going to be responsible for the entirety of the flavor and aroma for one single IPA or IIPA (depending on my final dried weight). I figure I'll wind up with 4-6oz, but who knows. I'm new at this, so it's all surprises.

Now I just need to think of a snappy name for my first homegrown hop wallop.
